In the Artenys office building is a medieval kitchen (calefactorium) that has been protected as a monument since 1968. The glass facades of the office building ensure that the protected historic kitchen is fully visible. The interior concept is conceived with maximum respect for the presence of the monument.
The flat cobblestones provide a suitable floor to the original brick walls and create an outdoor feeling in the interior. The medieval kitchen has been integrated into the office and now serves as a “special” meeting room.
